1. Keep your hair and scalp clean by shampooing regularly

If you are overweight and you find your hair is falling out too much, try increasing your intake of zinc.

8. Low vitamin B levels can contribute to dandruff, hair falling out, and grey hair. Take vitamin B supplements to keep your hair shiny and healthy.

10. Take vitamin E and eat whole grains rather than refined flour. Include wheat germ, eggs and vegetable oil in your diet.

11. Copper can also help prevent hair from falling out. There are studies that show that having a low amount of copper in the bloodstream can cause hair to fall out. Hair conditions like alopecia appear to have a deficiency in copper. Include small amounts of nuts like cashews, peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet to increase your copper intake.

Oils like coconut oil and Mira oil help keep hair healthy. Apply the oil to your scalp in the evenings and then wash out in the morning for best results.
