Farrah Fawcett 2 February 1947 to 25 June 2009 was an American actor and artist. A multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award-nominated Fawcett rose to international fame when she first appeared as a private detective Jill Munroe in the first season of the television series Charlie's Angels, in 1976. Ferrah Leni Fawcett was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, the youngest of two daughters. Her mother, Pauline Alice a housewife and her father, James William Fawcett, was an oil field contractor.
Fawcett was married to Lee Majors, star of TV The Six Million Dollar Man, 1973 to 1982, but the couple separated in 1979. During the marriage she was known and credited for his roles as Farrah Fawcett-Majors.
Fawcett died at about 9:28, PDT, 25 June 2009 at the intensive care unit at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, with O'Neal and Stewart on her side.
